Pre-Cleanse Day 1 of 3

Breakfast: Miso soup

Lunch: Arugula & mushroom salad

Snack: Apple

Dinner: Grilled chicken skewers, smoked chicken wings, smoked salmon lettuce cups and roasted sweet potatoes. [organic, sustainable & local]

Snack: Dried cuttlefish

Not sure if cuttlefish is allowed but oh well, I need to chew. :) Also had about 4 cups of black tea — not sure if black tea is allowed as it was not in the manual. Tomorrow I’ll replace that with water.

Edit: Adding bambara beans as another late night snack. Now some may argue that this is actually a type of peanut, but the National Academies Press seems to think it’s a legume, closer to a lentil or chickpea. It might have more salt than I’m allowed though. >.<
